I don’t often rant, but here goes. the two things that bug me about hotels:
1) The “we are oh so green” syndrome: In your bathroom is a sign saying “Save the planet, leave your towles on the floor and stop loads of chlorine being pumped directly in to your childrens’s brain” (or something). Yeah right. Shouldn’t it say “Ask us not to launder your towels and you will get £1 off your bill (or a complementary drink) or something?” Tell me that the hotel isn’t motivated by cost savings. Why can’t they be honest?
2) Shampoo bootles: So why do compomentary shampoo bottles generally have tiny, round, smooth screw tops that are almost impossible to get undone once your hands are wet? Ever heard of flip tops?
