I have resigned from IBM.  I bet that there hasn&#8217;t been a resignation email in IBM titled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pothos.org\/\">pothos<\/a>&#8221; before.  Or one that mentioned the troops of Alexander the Great.  So, I am returning to teaching and waving good bye to life as an IT consultant.  I will miss the people but not the job.   I&#8217;m happy to be returning to teaching and just hope that it lives up to my &#8220;gass is always greener&#8221; expectations.  Working 20 minutes from home and guaranteed to always being in my own bed are huge benefits.
