{"id":351,"date":"2011-07-18T22:07:00","date_gmt":"2011-07-18T22:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thomas.w-p.me.uk\/blog\/2011\/07\/lock-picking-is-hard\/"},"modified":"2011-07-18T22:07:00","modified_gmt":"2011-07-18T22:07:00","slug":"lock-picking-is-hard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thomas.w-p.me.uk\/blog\/2011\/07\/lock-picking-is-hard\/","title":{"rendered":"Lock Picking is hard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have long wanted to learn to lock pick. \u00a0It fascinates me. \u00a0A visit to the Science Museum with my 5 year old daughter found me inspecting old locks in the basement. \u00a0A few days later a conversation with my nephew turned up that he was fascinated too. \u00a0At last an excuse to splash out on a few cheap picks and a practise lock. \u00a0How difficult can it be?<\/p>\n<p>Extremely f****** mega difficult, that is how difficult it can be.<\/p>\n<p>I understand how the lock works and the theory behind picking. \u00a0I know my lock back to front but can I feel the little ticks and clicks I am supposed to? \u00a0Can I tell when I am near?
