{"id":344,"date":"2011-12-29T11:23:00","date_gmt":"2011-12-29T11:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thomas.w-p.me.uk\/blog\/2011\/12\/cyanogenmod-underclocking-and-undervolting\/"},"modified":"2011-12-29T11:23:00","modified_gmt":"2011-12-29T11:23:00","slug":"cyanogenmod-underclocking-and-undervolting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thomas.w-p.me.uk\/blog\/2011\/12\/cyanogenmod-underclocking-and-undervolting\/","title":{"rendered":"CyanogenMod, underclocking and undervolting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is all working now apart from one panic where I appeared to scramble the recovery image (ClockworkRecovery) and had a heart stopping wait to see if I had bricked the phone.\u00a0 This appeared to be related to ROMManager being linked to all zip files on the sdcard.<\/p>\n<p>Now I am trying to reduce battery use, I have been using <a href=\"http:\/\/androidforums.com\/desire-hd-all-things-root\/420774-has-anybody-rooted-using-tool-3.html#post3312109\">androidforums<\/a> again, more specifically <a href=\"http:\/\/androidforums.com\/desire-hd-all-things-root\/420774-has-anybody-rooted-using-tool.html#post3287692\">a post on undervolting<\/a>, but need to<a href=\"http:\/\/androidforums.com\/desire-hd-all-things-root\/431483-guide-dhd-all-things-root-roundup-sticky.html#8\"> calibrate the battery first<\/a>, something I have never done.\u00a0 The instructions on androidforums use a LordMod set of apps for undervolting, but I have also read that CyanogenMod is already undervolted.\u00a0 I think I will leave it for now.
