This morning I <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/showthread.php?t=683983\">backed up my phone&#8217;s state using nandroid<\/a>, then installed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beatmod.com\/ice-cream-sandwich-ics.html\">an ICS Beta<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/showthread.php?t=1343361\">xda-developers<\/a>.\u00a0 ICS is the new integrated version of Android that is formatted for both tablets and phones.\u00a0 It looks very nice, and I could almost use it except for the fact that the camera does not work (yet).\u00a0 When the camera is operational I may well mover over to it.\u00a0 I suspect that this will be the quickest way to get this update for my phone.<\/p>\n<p>After playing for half an hour, I backed up the ICS install and then restored my CyanogenMod build.<\/p>\n<p>I have not tried undervolting yet.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am getting to grips with this rooted phone stuff.
