A lot.\u00a0 There must be a reason for this. Be anal about it.\u00a0 Read the instructions on the packaging. <em>(Be patient)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Crush <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B00E9BPW04\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=6738&amp;creativeASIN=B00E9BPW04&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=hombrebeg-21\">campden tablets<\/a> between two spoons.<\/li>\n<li>Use a fork to strip elderberries.<\/li>\n<li>Wait for the bubbles to go when measuring specific gravity. <em>(Be patient)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Plastic bottles that are rock hard are BAD and you should don protective clothing before opening them outside.<\/li>\n<li>Racking off is how you slow\/stop fermentation and get a sweeter wine (this is what I have been told, but I have not managed it yet).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are some things I have learned along the way.
